The first type of space is focus, which is where a person has there own personal space. Here is where they can work, write, and analyze. In this type of space there is a desk or cubical depending on type of work environment is provided. As shown in the picture above. Design takes place in how the room is set up. In this type of space you can find a desk, a chair, and also a computer. Depending on the employers position will determine whether the space is small or large. A focus type environment is where the most time is spent.

The second mode that is presented in the work place is collaboration. Here is where employer’s can meet clients, mingle with other co-worker, or just gather together to talk and have meetings. As shown above this is a large space which provides large tables, multiple chairs, and also some form of technology or a large whiteboard to share ideas. This type of space is designed to bring people together to discuss, create and work with others.

The third type of work mode is a learn space and typically is where advance skills are enforced, and where you can acquire new knowledge. This space is found in schools or a auditorium, and is created to provide a place where large group of people can gather to learn. In this space you will find multiple desk and chairs, also a large whiteboard in the front or projector as the focus of the room. Typically there is a desk for the speaker or teacher where they can gather there things. Design is factored into this space type to help form a appropriate  learning environment.

The fourth type of office space is socialization, which is designed for the work place to provide a place where you can escape and mingle with other co-workers, or even clients. This space allows the employers a place where they can socialize and relax with others, or a place they can talk one on one with a client. In this work space it is designed to provide multiple places to sit, large tables, possibly TVs, and in a kitchen setting there could be a fridge, and a microwave that helps provide and establish a comfortable environment.
